艾媒咨询分析师统计发现,综合来看,尽管2019年乘用车车型较往年产量下降,就12月份而言,中国乘用车产量高于去年同期水平。但是,2019年12月中国汽车投诉数据1400条,同比增长216%,环比增加67.4%。被投诉汽车中,一半以上是中系汽车(52.94%);其中发动机和传动系是受到投诉最多的两类问题。艾媒咨询分析师认为,加强汽车及其售后服务质量,是在当前推动汽车销售的必要举措。

2020年6月中国汽车产业逐步回归正轨,乘用车产销量都有一定增长。狭义乘用车综合销量排名前十的多为合资品牌,自主品牌仅有吉利汽车和长安汽车入围。从汽车质量看,2020上半年,汽车行业实施召回有93次事件,召回总量约321.44万辆,较去年同期增长约16.4%。发动机问题是汽车召回的主要原因,共召回261.27万辆,占比超过8成。
